My name is Heather Boisjolie, and I am so excited to be a member of the Roo family at Weatherford High School! As I begin my 14th year in the classroom, I look forward to new experiences, new faces, and new learning opportunities for both my students and myself. I graduated from Tolar High School in 2000 and Tarleton State University in 2003 as the Outstanding Departmental Graduate with a degree in English. I hold certifications in English and ESL in grades 4-12. I have taught English in grades 7th-12th at both Granbury ISD and Tolar ISD. This year I will teach English II, which is one of my favorite grade levels! I live in Tolar, TX with my husband, Nathaniel, and our two children, Jaxson, 11, and Grace, 9. In our spare time, we enjoy the beach, swimming, hunting, eating good food, and watching and playing sports. When students enter my classroom, it is most important to me that they understand that I don't view my teaching position as a job, but as a calling in which I can serve to hopefully better their lives. Kids in my classroom become a part of my family, and I do everything within my means to educate, inspire, and instill a sense of confidence. I am looking forward to an EXCELLENT year! Go, Roos!
